As an industrial fan manufacturer, MECAVENT builds and tests its equipment in its own workshops.

As an industrial fan manufacturer, MECAVENT SA relies on two complementary workshops: Villeneuve (VD), Switzerland, for manufacturing and assembly, and Sarralbe (Moselle), France, for metal fabrication, testing, and refurbishment. This control of production enables us to guarantee quality, lead times, and made-to-measure solutions.

Villeneuve (VD) workshop, Switzerland

Located in the Villeneuve industrial zone, Route du Pré-du-Bruit 4, our Swiss workshop brings together:

made-to-measure fan manufacturing and assembly;

manufacturing of acoustic enclosures and silencers;

manufacturing of flexible connectors, with lead times of under one week for standard models.

Sarralbe (Moselle) workshop, France

Our Sarralbe workshop, with its technical department, extends our production capabilities:

metal fabrication and welding of fan casings and made-to-measure parts;

airflow tests to verify the performance of each fan;

balancing and vibration checks of impellers and rotating assemblies;

fan repair and refurbishment, regardless of the original brand.

Fans tested before delivery

Each fan is checked in the workshop before shipment: airflow performance, balancing, vibration level. On request, we provide the test reports and the quality file required by major industrial accounts.

An industrial fan manufacturer, from design to commissioning

Design office, manufacturing, testing, control systems, installation, and on-site commissioning: MECAVENT controls the entire chain. Our Aix-en-Provence site strengthens our presence in France.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attend the tests for my fan?

Yes. Our customers can attend the acceptance tests for their fans at our Sarralbe workshop.

Do you refurbish fans from other brands?

Yes. We repair and refurbish fans of all brands: impeller replacement, rebalancing, metalwork rework, complete overhaul.

What are your lead times?

Under one week for a standard flexible connector. For fans, enclosures, and silencers, lead time depends on the complexity of the project: we will confirm it from the quotation stage.

Why choose MECAVENT?

With over 25 years of experience in airflow engineering and industrial acoustics, MECAVENT SA combines the responsiveness of a human-sized company with the production resources of two workshops. Send us your specifications: we will propose a solution manufactured and tested in our workshops.

An industrial fan manufacturer with its own workshops

Being an industrial fan manufacturer means controlling quality from the first weld to the final test. MECAVENT operates two complementary workshops, in Villeneuve (Switzerland) and Sarralbe (France), where fans, acoustic enclosures, silencers and flexible connectors are manufactured, assembled and checked before delivery.

In Villeneuve, we manufacture and assemble industrial fans, acoustic enclosures, silencers and flexible connectors. Close to our customers in Switzerland, the workshop allows fast production of custom parts and urgent replacements. In Sarralbe, our technical department carries out airflow tests, dynamic balancing, vibration control, boilermaking and welding, as well as the repair and refurbishment of existing fans.

Testing and quality control

Every fan leaving our workshops is balanced and checked for vibration, based on the principles of rotordynamics and the applicable balancing standards. Airflow and pressure tests confirm that the fan meets its specified duty point, and a quality file is supplied with the equipment.

Why choose an industrial fan manufacturer rather than a reseller?

Working directly with an industrial fan manufacturer gives you custom designs, short decision paths, spare parts and long-term support for your installation, including the refurbishment of fans from other brands.
