Bag Filters
Bag or cartridge industrial dust collectors: MECAVENT designs and supplies complete installations for all processes that generate dust.
The bag filter is the reference solution for dry industrial process dust collection, from small flow rates to very large installations. Dust-laden air passes through textile bags that retain particles on the surface. Automatic cleaning, by compressed air, reverse flow, or vibration, regularly detaches the dust layer, which is discharged via hopper and rotary valve.
The filter media is selected case by case according to the nature of the dust, gas temperature, and humidity, to guarantee low residual emissions and long bag service life.
MECAVENT sizes the complete installation, from filter to fan: single filters, double filters, and silo filters.
Single Bag Filters
The single bag filter combines in one housing the filtration chamber, automatic compressed-air cleaning, and dust collection hopper. Compact and modular, it covers the vast majority of industrial dust collection needs: wood, metallurgy, minerals, chemicals, food processing, biomass.
Filter surface area, media, and construction materials are defined according to your air flow rate, the nature of the dust, and gas temperature.
Double Bag Filters
The double bag filter combines two filtration housings in a single installation. This configuration allows very high air flow rates to be handled while maintaining a controlled footprint and standard-length bags that are easy to replace.
It is particularly suited to high-volume hot-gas processes: biomass plants, furnaces, dryers, calcination. Depending on the design selected, one housing can be isolated for maintenance while the other remains in service.
Silo Filters
The silo filter mounts directly on the roof of a silo, hopper, or loading station. It captures the air displaced during pneumatic or mechanical filling and returns the retained dust to the storage: no product loss, no external emissions.
Compact and self-contained, it equips silos for cement, lime, flour, pellets, and mineral powders.
Cartridge Filters
The cartridge filter offers a large filter surface area in a reduced footprint. Its pleated cartridges effectively retain fine dust and fumes and are automatically cleaned by compressed-air injection. Replacement is simple and fast.
It is the ideal solution for workshops and low- to medium-flow processes: plasma and laser cutting, welding, grinding, deburring, polishing, powder handling, food processing.
The range is available in three versions: single, standard, and compact cartridge filters.
Single Cartridge Filter
The single cartridge filter is a compact unit for dust collection at a workstation or machine: deburring, grinding, polishing, cutting. Installed as close as possible to the source, it connects directly to the capture hood and fan.
Automatic compressed-air cleaning and the easily accessible dust collection bin reduce maintenance to a minimum.
Standard Cartridge Filter
The standard cartridge filter is the versatile model in the range. Designed for centralized installations, it serves multiple workstations or machines from a single extraction network.
The number of cartridges is adapted to your air flow rate and dust load. The filter can be supplemented with a fan, rotary valve, or screw conveyor depending on the desired discharge method.
Compact Cartridge Filter
The compact cartridge filter combines filtration and extraction in a low-footprint assembly, ready to connect. It installs directly in the workshop, as close as possible to the machine, or outside the building.
It is the quick-to-implement solution for cutting tables, welding, deburring, and fine powder handling.
Welded Industrial Ductwork
To connect capture, filter, and fan, MECAVENT designs, fabricates, and installs on site heavy-gauge welded duct networks in galvanized steel or stainless steel 304 and 316. Resistant to abrasion, corrosion, and temperature, they are suited to the severe conditions of industrial dust collectors.
All shapes are achievable: round or rectangular sections, elbows, reducers, branch connections, and special fittings. Networks can incorporate control and isolation dampers, silencers, inspection doors, and flexible connectors.
