Turnkey Air-Handling and Acoustic Solutions

Turnkey ventilation installation with fan and silencer

Turnkey ventilation means one partner for your entire project.

A high-performance turnkey air-handling installation is not just a good fan. Dust collection, ductwork, connections, acoustic treatment, and controls must be dimensioned together: this is the only way to guarantee the expected flow rate, pressure, noise level, and energy consumption. MECAVENT SA designs and supplies your complete air-handling solutions, from engineering to commissioning.

A single point of contact for:

  • Engineering and on-site measurements
  • Dimensioning and 3D drawings
  • Fabrication and supply of all equipment
  • Installation, commissioning, and control

Turnkey ventilation: one partner from design to commissioning

A turnkey ventilation project brings together many trades: airflow engineering, fan manufacturing, ductwork, acoustics, electrical control and installation. When these are split between several suppliers, interfaces multiply and responsibilities become unclear. With MECAVENT, you have a single contact who is responsible for the performance of the whole system.

We start with a site survey and measurements, then design the complete installation: capture hoods, ductwork, filters or dust collectors, fans, silencers, acoustic enclosures and flexible connectors. Our turnkey ventilation offer also includes variable frequency drives, sensors and control, so that the system adapts its airflow to the real needs of your process and saves energy.

Manufacturing, installation and commissioning

Fans, enclosures and silencers are manufactured and tested in our workshops before delivery. Our teams install the equipment on site, connect it, commission it and train your operators. We deliver the technical file needed for your conformity obligations, including those under the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 where applicable.

Turnkey ventilation for every industry

Workshops and factories, energy and power plants, water treatment, food and pharmaceutical production, flour mills and silos: our turnkey ventilation solutions are adapted to the constraints of each sector and each site.

A Complete Solution, from Filter to Air Discharge

Each link in the air-handling chain influences the others: an underestimated pressure drop in the filter, and the fan no longer holds its operating point; a poorly positioned silencer, and the ductwork becomes noisy. By designing the entire system, we eliminate these incompatibilities from the engineering stage.

Components of Your Installation

1. Dust Collection and Filtration

Dust collection is often the heart of the installation: capturing dust as close as possible to the source, conveying it through ducts dimensioned to prevent deposits, separating it in the dust collector, then discharging clean air. We dimension the entire system according to the nature of the dust (wood, metal, flour, powders, fumes), its concentration, and ATEX requirements. Dust collection applications →

2. Industrial Fans

Custom centrifugal and axial fans, ATEX and high-temperature versions. Our industrial fans →

3. Ductwork and Ducts

Ducts, conduits, and accessories dimensioned to limit pressure drops and prevent dust deposits. Ductwork and ducts →

4. Connections

Flexible connectors and fabric expansion joints to decouple vibrations and absorb thermal expansion. Flexible connectors →

5. Acoustic Treatment

Silencers, enclosures, acoustic walls, and louvers to meet the noise requirements of the site and surrounding area. Acoustic treatment →

6. Control and Automation

Variable frequency drives, sensors, and automation systems to adjust flow rate to actual demand and reduce energy consumption. Improvement and optimization →

Our Method

  1. Engineering: site visit and measurements, analysis of requirements and constraints.
  2. Design: air-handling and acoustic dimensioning, 3D drawings.
  3. Fabrication and supply: fabrication in our workshops and equipment selection.
  4. Installation and commissioning: installation, adjustments, and on-site testing.
  5. Follow-up: optimization, maintenance, and evolution of the installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you take over an existing installation?

Yes. We provide a diagnosis of the existing installation (flow rates, pressures, noise levels, consumption) and propose the necessary improvements, from simple fan replacement to complete ductwork redesign.

Do you operate in Switzerland and France?

Yes. From our workshops in Villeneuve (VD) and Sarralbe (Moselle), we support industrial clients in Switzerland and France.

What information should be provided to get started?

The process concerned, the flow rates or volumes to be handled, the nature of the air conveyed (dust, temperature, explosive atmosphere), noise constraints, and, if possible, drawings or photographs of the installation.
